- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside for nest formation.
- Combine creamy peanut butter, semisweet chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each, until completely melted and smooth, approximately 1–2 minutes total.
- Add crispy chow mein noodles to the melted mixture. Gently fold with a spatula until all noodles are evenly coated with the chocolate-peanut butter mixture.
- Scoop approximately 2 tablespoons of mixture onto prepared baking sheets to form mounds. Using the back of a spoon, create a small indentation in the center of each mound, shaping into nest-like structures with raised edges.
- Immediately press 2–3 candy-coated chocolate eggs into the center indentation of each nest while the mixture remains pliable. Ensure eggs are secure but not completely submerged.
- Refrigerate nests for at least 30 minutes or until completely firm. Serve chilled or allow to reach room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving.
